New Year New Me Goals

This week was the first week back from winter break and a lot of new things happened and there was a test EVERYDAY in each class. In ELA one of the assignments was to come up with a word that we focus on like a goal our main goal of the year. My word for 2019 is BOLD being bold can have many meanings but my meaning or goal is to stand out to be you even if nobody enjoys your hobby’s you have to be yourself. I chose this word because in the past I was shy and scared and being myself was difficult because at thought I would be judged and not be wanted by who I am but I notice that I am unique and no matter how different you are you should be you because nobody is better at being you than you.

New Year

I haven’t posted in a while but Inthink it is about time we talk about last year how it went our feelings and how we can improve this year. A lot of people be lived that once the new year starts that means new year new me right, wrong. If there would be a new you each year one year you would be a frog the next a fly, then an alien. The new year means we can change choices, be a better person, learn new things, find new relationships, fix old ones, grow, and most important believe in ourselves and have empathy. All these things are what we work on for the new year. We all do a count down a celebration, some are alone and celebrate by screaming, some are with family and hug at midnight. There are many different traditions like lighting up candles, eating grapes, playing games, declaring their resolutions for the new year, and some people have a midnight feast all of these are some traditions that people do and all are special in a different way. In my family we go with family and friends, we hug at midnight eat a grape for a new year wish, and we play games to show happiness and cheer for the new year. We combine many traditions together and have lots of fun. What are some traditions do you do for the new year and what are you planning this year? Happy New Year!🎊

Thanksgiving plans and reality

On thanksgiving every year we don’t do anything we just make it a regular day along with Black Friday. The only think that is different is that there is no school and there is a half day on Tuesday no school on Wednesday. I know that we aren’t going to do anything but this is an assignment for the week. (This beginning was written on Monday before the half day and thanksgiving.)

Reality 

So when I went to youth crossroads around 11:35 and my mom got there at 12:30 so I had to leave early for conferences 

Chicago world fair project ELA

In school we are doing a project for ELA about Chicago there were a huge amount of different choices and what I chose was the Chicago World Fair. I chose this because I have heard and learned a bit about it and I would like to learn more about it and what the inventions were, when it was, where, who attended, and why there was a Chicago World fair. I was deciding between choosing Wrigley Field and The Chicago World Fair. I chose the Chicago World fair because  I have learned a lot about Wrigley Field and feel if I chose it, it would be a review and wouldn’t be as interesting. The Chicago World Fair was supposed to be in July 2nd, 1890 but was delayed until the summer of 1893, at that time Grover Cleveland was the president and opened the fair on May 1, 1893 and closed it on October 30, 1893/Columbus Day. In this fair many different thing were invented specialized for the fair. One of the greatest inventions was the Ferris wheel

The week of November 12

This whole week has been so confusing and conflicting with all of my friends.

Monday

It all started on the weekend, like all weekends I was talking to all my friends and I was specifically talking to my friend Ramona and we were playing truth or dare and like always I have to get at least three dares and I had to tell my crush if he wanted to be my boyfriend and I knew that he was going to say no and he said it in such a nice way. Anyway I was hoping that that was going to be it but then I had to ask my friend Dave and thank goodness that I wasn’t his friend on Snapchat and I went through the whole weekend and everything was fine. On Monday I went up to my crush and told him that it was all just a dare but I don’t mention anything to Dave because I knew that he hadn’t seen it. Later this day during first block I have an enemy I call him pure evil. We pretty much hate each other, and the worst part about it is that 1. Our lockers are right next to each other 2. We are in the same exel 3. We are in the same block one Math there was a four and five but that was for the first quarter. Now it’s only three thank goodness. Well all of my friend have been trying to get us together because they think we would be the “cutest” couple. That morning before math started when we were all in line to go in the class room me and Robert were waiting in line and once we noticed that we were there we staring starring at each other straight in the eyes like usual with a disopointed look on our face and even if we always did that he hadn’t done it for so long we were there two whole miniutes. Everyone that was watching us were like “omg true love” or they like “each other” of course we had to sit back to back so it was the worst time of my life (not literally). So the rest of math  he was looking at me at some points of the class and well I caught him around five times. He was probably looking at me more times but I didn’t see him. That whole day I was so confused and thinking about that until STEAM I just relaxed and talked with my friends. In youth crossroads a club I go to after school until five pm, I was trying to tell Ramona how he kept looking at me and she also said it was true love and put up a heart with her hands. And so I decided to go with my other friend Mira and then we tried to get James TO TALK TO Sarah. So Sarah LIKES James AND James LIKES Sarah and everyone ships them, some people that are uninformed think that they are either dating or an official couple. I have known James  since first grade and he is my best friend and he is pretty much the weirdest most annoying and funny person ever. So I pulled him over to Sarah and she ran and went to the bathroom , while she was in the bathroom Mira had the great idea to get Sarah’s phone and go through it so she took it out and we tried to  open it but we were unsuccessful so Mira decided we should hide it in James’ backpack but he noticed so we were trying to take it away from him and this has happened before that we are so close face to face and he was trying to get his backpack back so he pulled it and then I just gave it to him. Then a while later Sarah came back and got her phone back. Then a while later we sat back down away from James and his friends we sat with all our friends. When Sarah didn’t notice we pulled James over and Sarah ended up with a scraped knee and James with a broken heart. When the club ended I went home went to Tae Kuan Do and relaxed my mind until I got home from Tae Kuan Do. I sat down went on my phone and then saw that Dave had seen the texts and said that he would think about it! After that I couldn’t say it was just a joke a dare a prank what if he thought of saying yes and then break his heart and make it awkward to talk to each other.

Tuesday 

So after MANNY saw it I pretty much did absolutely nothing so that was great but on Tuesday morning I told my friends that were there early and they were so surprised truly I was too. Once again I saw Isaac and I totally forgot about what had happened and once we got to the locker we once again were arguing and then he took my iPad and of course we do that regularly and say mean things steal stuff from each other and we usually give itback later but what we most did was pretend that the other person took our iPad and try to take their iPad away. Isaac thought that that’s what I was doing but this time he actually took my ipad and I was trying to get it back and then ROMINA passes by and I was like oh here we go with the true love thing. Thank goodness she didn’t even remember where she was because neither Isaac or I noticed our armes were hooked together the second I noticed I let go got my iPad showed him it was mine closed my locker got my things and left to my homeroom, but sadly we are in the same homeroom but nothing really happened. In math we switched seats and I was above Isaac and I could see every time he looked at me and he only looked at me twice  which is good because all of the people think that we are a perfect match especially ROMINA. that whole day was pretty boring and in P.E. we had to run for so long I was coughing the whole rest of the day.

Wednesday 

So today has been a very difficult day it mainly started with the rest of the other days
