Saturday April 20 2019 Slice of Life day 20

So today nothing special happened. I was just cleaning my room. Specifically my closet. The hardest part about it is everything kept falling on my head YAY! I mainly did this to prove my dad wrong and show him I can clean. Without my phone, this might sound weird but the only reason it does is my wording. I just “can’t let go of my phone” well according to my dad, so I decided that I was going to clean my. Closet without my phone and prove my dad wrong so I was going to clean out my closet and then my drawers. Sadly when I was cleaning the bags that were on my closet floor and throwing mostly everything away and then my mom brought in bags that were for donation and I had to look over them and see if they were going to be donated or thrown away. That meant more work for me I was going to finish cleaning the whole closet and have it organized and then start on the bags when suddenly my dad bagels in my room and shouts look at this huge mess! I look around. My room was mostly clean except for the bags on the floor, my dad told me to get rid of the the bags so I put all of the things I was cleaning inside the closer again and started sorting I had shut my door because it was toys and if my little brothers passed by they would probably take them. My dad ONCE AGAIN bagels in and says LEAVE THIS DOOR OPEN YOU ARE ALWAYS LOCKED INSIDE YOUR ROOM AND SO PRIVATE THIS DOOR STAYS OPEN FROM NOW ON! And LUCKY me my little brothers come behind my dad and they look at the toys. I see in their faces they are resisting the urge to take them and play with them I rush and sort them as fast as possible and I hope that they don't take anything. Soon enough my dad and my brothers left to go to the store my dad had asked me if I wanted to go but my response had to be no. I really didn't have a choice since I had to finish cleaning and organizing. I finished off the bags and all of the trash was piling up it was almost 6 full bags so I took all the bags and shoved them in the kitchen garbage can take the bathroom garbage and take it to the kitchen garbage and soon enough the garbage can if full. I stop by my room and take my jacket and my shoes I put them on and hurry outside and and take the garbage out then I go back inside get a big bin and bring all he donations clothes toys things we don't use. And I carry all the bags to the bin. All of the floor is clean and I am so tired soon enough my dad and brothers get back and I just want to lay down and relax but I can't I have to keep helping out.

Friday April 19th 2019 Slice of Life day 19

Well today wasn't any ORDINARY day there wasn't any school today because of good Friday which was both good and bad. The good things were that I got to spend time with my mom and my brothers and we got to stay at home, but a bad thing is my dad wasn't there for most of the day and another is that well there isn't any school. I know it's weird well at least for most people but I actually enjoy going to school mainly math I have LOVED math since kindergarten I was always ahead of the class and I was one of the best students. Math has slowly gotten harder but I am still ahead of most people I just don't like showing it so I usually drawing my journal instead of raising my hand I only answer the questions when the teacher pick on me because I'm not participating, I always answer correctly but I don't like answering I feel like I'm going to say something wrong or mess up but I still enjoy math. But the thing I am happy about school is that there isn't social studies or ELA. I actually quite enjoy ELA well the class the only bad thing is that that is the class I struggle the most with I usually faze off and sometimes when I read I usually get completely confused on what the book says and a couple years ago I read but I didn’t understand what it said what it was saying what the words meant all together and I hated it. I had always gotten teased for so many things including reading badly and not understanding what I read. One summer I kept reading over 20 short books and I slowly started to understand what it was saying. Ow I can finally read understanding what it says and find meaning in words and phrases. Even though I still have trouble with ELA and reading but I have gotten better and I am kind of happy that there isn't school today because así don’t have to go to ELA or social studies.

Thursday April 18 2019 Slice of Life day 18

Today was the dance and I wanted to help out but since had forgotten to ask the principal or vice principal so during ELA we were able to watch a movie so while we were watching I decided that I was going to send her the email letting them know I wanted to help out in any way possible. They didn’t respond but once I got out of class my social Justice teacher came up to me and told me that I could help out and that was because she was the coordinator of the dance. I was so excited because in my past experience it was extremely fun helping out with the dance and I was honored that they let me help out. After school we hat to meet in the social Justice and I was so excited but also a bit confused. Once I went in I saw other students and there were a lot and so I thought maybe there was a club that was funding the dance and it wasn’t just people volunteering. I looked around at the people and put my stuff down and sat down in a seat. The teacher started giving jet the different snacks that we were going to sell and tells us to give them all different prices to sell at the dance, she also told us to give the wrist bands and glow sticks prices. We had decided on all the prices it was time to divide into teams one for preparing outside the entrance, the cafeteria, and to prepare the jobs in the classroom.  I prepared the jobs my job was to put the little connector on the glow in the dark bracelets. The hardest part is not breaking them while putting them on. Once we finished setting those up and the entrance was decorated everyone that was participating came in and wrote down when they wanted to participate in their shifts. We got the shifts all set up and all we needed it to really set everything up everything was all completely decorated but not set up so we brought the selling signs and the wristbands the glow sticks and the box to to pay. We got all of the outside set up and we had gotten the cafeteria decorated we were just waiting until the DJ was done setting up and until it was five to let people in. Once five came around I was excited happy and proud.

Wednesday April 17 2019 Slice of Life day 17

Yesterday was my friends birthday and she didn’t come to school so I was hoping that she would come to school today and she did. When I saw her I went up to her and asked her why she didn’t come to school she gave me a “seriously” look, then I looked at her hands she had gotten a manicure and she had her nails done with different colors, then I look at mine they looked like little shrubs I felt sad I was boring my nails were short colorless and looked like blobs. But not only had she gotten her nails done but she had gotten a new phone which was a big surprise since she had gotten her phone taken away for many months and all of a sudden she has a brand new phone. I was a little sad because I had brought her birthday present yesterday and I wasn't able to give it to her and I said if she wasn't there she wasn't getting it and so I kept it for myself. I would say what it was but she might read this blog so it not the best Idea. Well since today in the morning she saw me with milk on the hallway like always she said we should start like a little guessing system where she guesses what drink Im having in the morning everyday and I agreed hoping she would get them wrong hopefully she does so I can see her fail, yes I know Im so mean it's fine I was born to be that way the end I'll survive. Well anyways I didn't have much to say after this so we said our goodbyes and I went to my after school club.

Tuesday April 16 2019 Slice of Life day 16

Today we were able to use our Rota board that we were supposed to make and our pieces to have our Rota competition. I was unfortunately not done all I needed were my rota pieces I hadn’t made any yet so I cut out squares out of note cards and made the same symbols as my rota board had and I colored it quickly before class has officially started. We started with our first round we had partners and the person that I was against had won so they went to the winner part of the room and I stayed in the losers portion. I teamed up with someone else and we played again and luckily I had I G my strategy and I won I was happy and proud because I had done horribly the first round. We were just about to start our last and final round when I dropped all my Rota board pieces that really made me feel like I was really bad at keeping myself organized. I picked up all my pieces as fast as I could and I stood up then tried to find a partner and once I did we played and we almost had an even amount of points but on the last play whoever won won the whole thing luckily I had my strategy prepared and I was able to win the last round before the timer rang and I had won the last game.

Monday April 15th 2019 Slice of Life day 15

Today I was still obsessing over the talent show so I looked it up on YouTube and I was successful to find find one of the acts the final act my favorite act and I was so happy so Sweater guy and the other guy with the guitar were performing I believe Ina. Thing called love on the bass and it was AWESOME!! So when it was practiced it was already really good but they added a little twist at the end when they were playing The end of the song when the there is a drum solo in the original song they did a guitar solo and not only was it a amazing guitar solo but Jake walked off the stage and down the aisle playing his guitar and as he walked he was nodding his head to the beat he stopped half way and turned around he went up the three steps and up the stairs back onto the stage and continued singing and playing. At one point close to the end they made everyone clap along and it made it sound so much better. Soon enough the song ended but instead of walking off the stage like everyone else Jake thought that since it was his last year and the last act he would do something epic, he went towards the end of the stage and jumped off of it. That was a pretty epic ending if I do say so myself and that talent show was okay but that ending was worth watching. So once I had found the song on YouTube I listened to it all of the time and I really enjoyed listening to it. That video truly made my day and I think it will also make yours just a little better. I will have the link at the end.

I also just wanted to apologize for posting everything late but I had a very busy April and writing wasn’t really in my Schedule. Thanks for understanding.
